| Arab Cartage & Express prides itself in community involvement,
and helps to make Arab, Alabama a better place to live and work. From making
annual contributions to charities such as the American Heart Association and
the Alabama Special Olympics, to offering transportation services to the Arab
High School Robotics Team, and visiting the local primary schools to let the
kids experience the excitement of a "big truck". Although our contributions are
very small in the overall efforts given to these charities, we like to think
that every little bit counts, and we encourage all our fellow neighbors to do
the same. |
The Arab
Chamber of Commerce recognized Arab
Cartage & Express as the Business of
the Month in September of 2000. You

Arab Cartage & Express sponsored a
team for the American Cancer
Society’s Relay For Life on April 20th,
2007. Our motto was “Crawfish for a
Cure”. We sold 190 lbs of crawfish
and raised $1,200.00 for the event.
A special thanks to following
contributors: Sierra’s Mexicanisimo
Restaurant for donating much of the
food and supplies, Larry & Jan
Massey of Tuscaloosa for giving us a
great price on the
biggest, liveliest, and
tastiest crawfish this
side of the Mississippi, and to all
the Arab Cartage & Express employees
who worked extra hard to make this
event a huge success.

The children at the Arab Primary School were very
excited when Mr. Bob let them tour the inside and out of a "big truck". The
horn was a big hit that day. |
Arab Cartage & Express was honored to provide
transportation services to the Arab High School Robotics team, which has won
many national awards and accolades for their achievements in science and
engineering. In this photo, the students proudly displayed their 1st place
trophy won at the regional competition in Saint Louis, MO. They will now travel
on to the national competition where another possible championship
awaits. |
